Ham and Cheese Croissants - Quick, Easy and Impressive Breakfast or Brunch
These ham and cheese croissants are sosimple to make but they're super
impressive for that special breakfast orbrunch.
I'm taking these luxury shop bought
croissants and I'm gonna level them upwith good quality ham, Swiss cheese and a
honey mustard glaze.
We'll start by preheating the oven to
190 C or 375 F.
Slice each of thecroissants in half length ways but don't
cut them completely in half.
So we take a slice of Swiss cheese andfold it over and then a slice of ham
which is also folded over and then topit with a second slice of the Swiss
cheese and then we slot that into thecroissant and place it on the baking tray.
Repeat until all the croissants arefilled
Once all the croissants are stuffed we'regonna start on a simple honey mustard
glaze. In a bowl place 1 tablespoon ofDijon mustard, 2 tablespoons of honey
and 1 tablespoon of brown sugar.
Mix it alltogether until combined,
then brush the top of the croissants with the honey mustard glaze.
Sprinkle with a few poppy seeds,
then place in the oven for six to seven minutes.
There you go, really simple impressive and mega tastythese ham and cheese croissants are
perfect for a special breakfast orbrunch.
